The Language Express

Research shows that in order to teach children to read, emphasis needs to be placed on the following five essential oral language components; phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary and grammar, fluency  and comprehension.
By developing these five components, children will gain knowledge in the literacy skills areas of language structure, context and text types crucial towards the foundation of learning.

The Language Express is an easy to use system and is designed for use by teachers, education assistants and parents or volunteers (under teacher supervision).

Who is it for?

The Learning Express is design for students in their early years of school (4-5 year olds). Children with limited language skills, non-speaking backgrounds or students on the autism spectrum will also benefit from this resource.
