Description / Geo-Volume Set - 15 Pieces
Made up of a variety of 3D transparent geometric models, this set is a great tool for measuring and comparing the volume relationship (and volume formula) between various solid shapes. The models are made so that you may easily pour water, sand or rice from one into the other.
Students will soon 'see' that the volume of a cone is one-third of a cylinder with the same dimensions. Similar relationships may be found between the other models found in the set.

Excellent interactive volume and 3D shapes resource

We found this a great resource for identifying 3D shapes and understanding volume. We filled them with coloured water and measured the volume of water and could make comparisons between the different shapes using the correct names. Great, interactive fun where children learn from trying options.
